Wrong Page: Different Book

You've outgrown the boys of your past but not quite grown into the men of your future... something said by a smart and endearing character on a successful show. But it's true. You had moved on from one life and quite haven't turned to the first page of the second. You thought you had found a start, something to make you jump. But then you were quickly reminded why that guard is up. You are no where near ready. You need to develop the plot, outline the chapters, set yourself up for that perfect ending. See you can't do that until you realize and take in what happened in the first book. Things changed dramatically at the end. She lost a lot of things, but gained a lot too. For her to realize what she wanted out of life she had to take a few hits, get let down a little bit more. But the last few lines of the book prevailed that she'd make it out alive and a whole lot stronger. Perhaps it wasn't her heart that gained the strength, but her head. Thats what you as the reader need to comprehend first. Did she learn to never let her heart trust or let a man in again? Or did she become more aware of how to recognize the good from the bad. Until then you can't move onto the next book... you'll just be on the wrong page

My Weekend in Nantucket

{ My new favorite addition to the Jewelry Collection}

This weekend I went to Nantucket to visit my best friend. I could not have imagined a prettier island. Every house is made out of cedar wood, the streets are covered in cobblestone, and of course there are a ton of beaches. The Restaurants are so cute and original. My favorite was Fog Island Cafe {breakfast}. The chef's special was banana bread toast with sliced bananas and caramel sauce. It was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to make it when I get home. The beaches there are great. My favorite was Cisco Beach. The waves were HUGE and there was a surf competition going on. The whole atmosphere there is just mind blowing. The night life is just as fun. But the best part was just being with my friend Brooke. She is one of the few people that I can do vacations with. I had so much fun and I cannot wait to go back. I definitely recommend wearing sundresses and flats for the most part. My panama hat and burberry sunglasses were a necessity. Try and bring as much with you, it can get extremely expensive there. Before you know it you've spent like 300 dollars. I can't wait to go back and try some things that I missed out on. Like the Brewery and The Juice Bar.

Movie Tuesday

Last night I went to see Inception with my best friend. I had heard nothing but great things about the movie...and I have to say it made my top 5. With the weather being kind of weird, cloudy and muggy one minute then bright sunshine with a cool breeze the next I didn't know what to wear. I hate going out of the house in sweats but last night I was exhausted. I'm not usually a movie theatre person because I'd rather snuggle up on the couch
and be comfy.. but this outfit made it casual.

Pants- Victoria Secret Crop Yoga Pants {navy blue}
Tank- Casual BP Tank Top {Cream}
Cardigan- Free People {Gray/Oversized}

My Sunday Sowa

Today my mother and I went into the South End to see what this SOWA Market was all about. When I walked into the Market Place I was taken back. It was everything I loved all under tents... The people are great there, the atmosphere is unlike any other.. and the talent.. it's amazing. There was one artist though that stuck out to me, Wilton Artisan. She makes phenomenal pieces out of sea glass and other scraps that you'd never think could be jewelry. One look and I was sold to this amazing necklace. It is made out of old clock pieces. It says 'time 4 new beginnings'. My mom and I both thought it was perfect. It was $60.00 but totally worth it. It is the only one she has ever made and I felt privileged to have it. I can't wait to go back again next sunday and check out more artists. I also got two beautiful bouquets of sunflowers from a local grower all for 5.00. They went wonderful in my room right next to my laptop. I hope everyone enjoyed their hot but fabulous weekend, I know I did! Now back to reality and work tomorrow...

Beat the Heat

And we're back to the heat wave factor. Everyone is trying to escape this heat while trying tobe productive. I learned that air conditioning has never been so sweet. I took the time this week to re-decorate my room. I was sick of the old, not put together room. Nothing matched and it seemed to bother me EVERY time I walked in. So I took a free week, blasted my air conditioner and painted my room, got a new bed set, painted my furniture, grabbed some cute room accessories and called it a "Day in Paris". I could not be happier with the result.
Target is having a sale on comforters { and trust me they are pretty cute!}
and Marshalls/ TJ Maxx has some amazing/ inspiring bedroom accessories.

{Before - it was a mess!}

{ In the process}

{After, and extremely pleased!}

{ little accessories!}

{ My inspiration for this entire room}

I hope you enjoyed this little experience with me. I had so much fun just creating a whole new room. It's still a work in progress, but I love it. Find something fun and changing like this for the next heat wave. My next project.. building my first closet ever. I am extremely excited for that. Finally my hard earned clothes and shoes will have a home!

Hello Heat Wave!

Its a hot one, but with barely any sun in Boston.. I used to always have trouble figuring out what to wear, but I realized simple is better. I chose to wear a details tank top from FreePeople and a simple pair of shorts from Abercrombie. To make this a more appealing outfit I wore my light brown gladiator sandals. I dressed it up with some simple jewelry & did a fishtail braid with my hair. Now I'm ready for some shopping and errands

Tank Top: we-the-free hazy vista tank {Picture could not be obtained}
Shorts: Abercrombie Classic Blue
Gladiator Sandals: Tory Burch

Review Happy

I am a avid shopper online. Whenever I am bored with the usual Facebook and Twitter I window shop the web. But after several returns I learned to read the reviews before I buy. Reading what others have said about a certain piece have been a deciding factor for me. So now I make sure that if I buy something I write a review about it immediately after. One place I always make sure to this is FreePeople.com. Some of their things can run differently and may not flatter me in one way. So next time you buy something, make sure to read the reviews and to also write one yourself. Its really a huge help! Happy Friday everyone!

I'll be going to the SOWA Market on Harrison Street in Boston on Sunday... I can't wait to tell you all about it!
--And I can't forget Nordstrom is having an anniversary sale, and Tory Burch I am coming for you!

THAT dress

It's summer and every girl needs that one dress. The dress you can wear casually, or a night out on the town. I found "my" dress a month ago at Nordstrom in the BP {Juniors} section. I usually wear it while running errands, doing some quick shopping in Boston, or meeting a friend for coffee. My dress is purple and fits just right.

Always Choose Paris

Welcome to ''Always Choose Paris". If there are two things that every girl is looking for, it's illustrious labels and life consuming love, Paris is the city for both. I have taken a break from love and have been focusing more on labels. But that doesn't mean I've lost hope. This blog was created to muse both aspects. I want to help girls decide what to wear according to the weather. Share my stories, in hopes that you can relate. And contribute some of my favorite {affordable} labels.
